She is spending a semester at the Faculty of Economics of HSE. If students use any of the gym space in the HSE dormitories, they have probably seen some of these items present. While these fitness materials aid students in their quest either to get into shape or to maintain some level of physical fitness, Kerri wants to suggest that there is definitely another option, which can add to both your fitness and sight-seeing routine: running.

New Online Magazine about Student Life at HSE

Students from the Faculty of Social Sciences and international Master’s students at HSE Moscow are launching Read Square — a new online magazine in English. Read Square will be updated every three weeks and will offer international insight and opinion on Higher School of Economics news, science and future perspectives in a global world.

German Students Enjoy Internships in Russia

From 30th March to 3rd April, 50 German students attended a session of the Business in Russia programme, run jointly by HSE and DAAD and the German Chamber of Foreign Trade since 2012. Students on the programme do six-month internships in German company offices in Russia and prepare group projects on various themes, under the guidance of HSE professor Natalya Guseva.

Russian and American Students Research Legal Problems Together
On the 17th March 2015, 10 students from the University of Iowa, School of Law arrived in Moscow to take part in a research project with 2nd and 3rd year undergraduates at the HSE Faculty of Law. The aim of this international project is tocompare legal interpretation of the same problems in Russia and the USA. In April, Russian students will go to America to finalize and present their joint projects.

There are many different reasons why international students choose to study at HSE — the university’s reputation, an interest in Russian culture and desire to learn Russian, an ambition to study with the acknowledged masters of economics, plans to work on the markets with Russian business, reasonably priced tuition.
France TV Info recently reported that increasing numbers of students are going abroad to study. The report showed French students on exchanges in Georgetown University (Washington, USA), The Moscow Conservatoire and HSE.
