The student society Green HSE and the School of Design are organising a marathon transforming old electronics into art. Art Electronics Days began on 29th October and will end with the announcement of a winner on 20th November.

On October 18, 2015 for the first time ever, the Faculty of Computer Science at HSE will host the quarter-finals of the International Collegiate Programming Contest, ACM ICPC along with two other Moscow universities.

You can meet them and learn about the latest research breakthroughs at the NAUKA 0+ festival, which gets underway in Moscow on October 9. Here’s an outline of what HSE offers as part of NAUKA 0+.
HSE Day, which takes place on September 9, 2015, at Gorky Park is not only a colourful festival for everyone, but also an opportunity to learn more about the university. Without doubt, you’ll find what you’ve long been looking for among HSE’s educational programmes, studios, sports and creative activities.

For example, there is HSE Day, there’s you, and here are seven reasons why you shouldn’t miss this event. You might find your one true love while speed dating at HSE Land, become a renowned orientalist thanks to ‘The Whole World at HSE’ venue, or fall in love with Russian rock music.

Until July 31, 2015, you can apply for the German-Polish-Russian Trilateral Youth Forum, which will take place in Moscow from September 28 – October 2, 2015. Most of the events will be held at HSE.
On May 31 at the Muzeon Park of Arts, the Mayovka Youth Festival will be held by the Russian Union of Youth. Activities awaiting visitors include sports, cooking classes, design lessons and a number of other events. HSE will have two venues at the festival – one for dancing and the other for intellectual games.
Applications are open until 20 June for participation in the tourist trip along Karelia’s rivers, planned by the HSE’s Extreme Sports Club. The expedition is set for July 3-12. Even people who have never canoed before are welcome, as experienced instructors will explain everything you need to know, train you all, and — importantly — be right there alongside you.
