In early March, the HSE building on Pokrovsky Bulvar hosted theRussian Culture Day Festival. The event was organised by the HSE Department of Internationalisation. International students participated in quizzes, lectures, and workshops. They also had the opportunity to taste a traditional Russian dish—blini with jam.

In February 2023, the HSE University Cultural Centre hosted the festival ‘Colour of Asia: From Riyadh to Tokyo’ coordinated by the university’s Korean Club. A total of 24 student organisations took part in arranging the festival, including national, environmental, and charity clubs.
On October 20-30, the VI International Film Festival of Science and Technology 360° will take place in Moscow. The festival’s programme is comprised exclusively of documentaries relating to science, technology, and new ideas on the world and society. HSE has partnered with the festival several times in the past, organising lecture series and holding discussions on the exciting films screened at the event. And this festival, which is being organised for the sixth time already, will not be an exception.

From July 15 to August 7, 2016, a festival of jam is taking place all around Moscow. Thirty three festival sites located in central Moscow and in all of the city’s administrative areas sell honey, fruit, nuts and souvenirs, as well as 200 varieties of jams, including such exotic sorts as lilac, chamomile, rose petal, dandelion, honeysuckle, coffee, chili, and aubergine jam. Guests of the festival can also participate in about 1,000 creative and athletic workshops.

On May 31 at the Muzeon Park of Arts, the Mayovka Youth Festival will be held by the Russian Union of Youth. Activities awaiting visitors include sports, cooking classes, design lessons and a number of other events. HSE will have two venues at the festival – one for dancing and the other for intellectual games.
