The world-famous competition between Oxford and Cambridge universities traces its history back to 1829. These sporting duels are part of a broader tradition of genial one-upmanship between the two universities, which has been held on the river Thames for 186 years. This year, the tradition is coming to Moscow – where the capital's two leading universities will battle it out in a regatta.

HSE Buddies Network is making sure foreign students get plenty of cultural experience while in Russia. This spring they organised a trip to Kazan and introduced foreign students to Russian Orthodox Easter traditions.

If you are in Russia for the week of February 16-22 this year, you are particularly lucky, since you’ll have the opportunity to participate in Maslenitsa, one of the most popular Russian festivals.

On October 3, 2014, the Pushkin Museum of Fine Artsis opening the exhibition ‘British Design: From William Morris to the Digital Revolution,’ prepared by the Moscow Design Museum. The exhibition will feature an educational programme, in which the HSE Faculty of Design is partnering with the two museums.
