Through November 18, HSE students and staff can bring all sorts of electronic waste, from headphones to mixers and irons, to be recycled. The event is traditionally organized by Green HSE, a student organization.

This October World Festival of Youth and Students took place in Sochi bringing together over 20 000 young people from 150 countries. Several HSE international students participated in the event. They have shared their impressions with HSE News Service.

The last Culture Café of the first module was held on October 18, and was dedicated to Finland. It was the very first time ESN HSE Moscow and the International HSE Office hosted the Nordic country! We would like to thank the real Finnish guys, Mira, Minna, Ida, Ville and Eero, who made such a great Culture Café possible.

We held our third Culture Café on October 11. It was hosted by HSE international students from South Korea. Thanks to Mingyu, Junsung, Sanghee, Yunji, Chaeeun, Esenia and Francis for this unique opportunity to imagine our Korea!

After meeting the newcoming students and seeing their bright inspired (however, a little bit frightened) eyes, it has been decided that the whole new season of Culture Cafés has to start. A traditional autumn camping weekend organized by the HSE Extreme Sports Club will take place on September 23 and 24. The event is open not only to HSE students and staff, but for backpacking lovers from other universities as well.

On September 14, the Higher School of Economics celebrated its main holiday, HSE Day, for the sixth time. Not only HSE students and staff, but anyone living in Moscow could enjoy the event. On September 14, the Higher School of Economics is again welcoming guests at Moscow’s Gorky Park to celebrate HSE Day – an extraordinary event that has become a tradition of citywide proportions. HSE Day has a lot to offer for everyone and is open to international students and faculty members.
