Hello everyone! Did you miss us? We are back and happy to announce a new season of our Culture Cafés. As a tradition, we opened it with Culture Café dedicated to our motherland, beloved Russia. We couldn’t miss an opportunity to introduce our charming country and tell you some interesting facts you probably hadn’t heard before. Let’s refresh our memory and recollect the brightest moments from that September cozy evening.

Many thanks to our HSE international students Imamkhodjaeva Vasilya, Eugenia Golovkina, Bekzod Karimov, Nina Ladinskayawho have discovered a new country for us and left only unforgettable and enjoyable memories about it.

We are sure that everybody heard about contemporary Korean culture at least once. It is becoming more and more popular each day. A lot of young boys and girls (especially girls) cannot wait to listen to a new song from their favorite K-pop bands or watch the newest K-drama series. But not everyone is familiar with the life of locals in the Land of morning calm. So, on the first Culture Café of the spring we gathered to learn about just that.

From Istanbul Bilgi University to HSE, Students Share Their Experiences

For Yiğit Tahmisoğlu, Süleyman Saltoğlu and Ekimhan Can – students from Istanbul Bilgi University – the opportunity to study in the HSE and University of London Double Degree Bachelor’s Programme in Economics  has meant facing a number of challenges while simultaneously benefiting greatly from what the programme has to offer.
