The summer final exam session at HSE University (as well theses defences) was conducted completely online. The HSE News Service talked to international students about what they thought of the new knowledge assessment technologies and how they would like to take exams in future.

Students of the first cohort of the HSE’s online Master of Data Science are now completing their first semester. Offered entirely online on Coursera, the programme attracts students from all over the world. HSE News Service spoke with two international students about what drew them to the programme, the courses they have taken so far, and what their online student community is like.

In 2019, Anna Kuzina graduated from HSE University and Skoltech Statistical Learning Theory joint master programme. Now Anna works as a research engineer in Skoltech and will commence her PhD studies in Amsterdam in September. Here she talks about her life as a student and her research.
