Upon graduating from university, it is not uncommon to find that your professional interests no longer align with your undergraduate area of study. Pursuing an advanced degree that allows you to pursue your real interests is a solution to this problem. At HSE University, we understand this. That is why many HSE Master’s programmes do not require applicants to hold a bachelor’s degree in the programme field.

Sangam Kumar Singh is currently finishing the second year of his Master of Science in Big Data Systems. After spending the first year at HSE Moscow, he has gone to the UK on a double degree track with Lancaster University. The English Preparatory Programme in Economics is designed to prepare students for degree-level study in the field of Economics at the International College of Economics and Finance, as well as other HSE University schools. The deadline for international fee-paying applicants to receive an extra 5% tuition discount in addition to their grants and scholarships has been extended until June 30. Here's how Fall 2020 applicants can receive an additional discount for their studies at the undergraduate or graduate level.

The HSE Centre for International Preparatory Programmes is launching an intensive online course of Russian as a Foreign Language. The course will start on October 1, 2020 and will be part of a blended preparatory programme that aims to help international students gain proficiency in Russian so that they can enrol in Russian-taught undergraduate and graduate programmes. Registration for the course is already open.

In the event of unfavorable conditions or border closures due to the pandemic, HSE University will be organizing online learning with mandatory support from professors for newly enrolled international students. To do this, the University has all the required infrastructure.
