The English Preparatory Programme in Economics is designed to prepare students for degree-level study in the field of Economics at the International College of Economics and Finance, as well as other HSE University schools. The HSE Centre for International Preparatory Programmes is launching an intensive online course of Russian as a Foreign Language. The course will start on October 1, 2020 and will be part of a blended preparatory programme that aims to help international students gain proficiency in Russian so that they can enrol in Russian-taught undergraduate and graduate programmes. Registration for the course is already open.

In the event of unfavorable conditions or border closures due to the pandemic, HSE University will be organizing online learning with mandatory support from professors for newly enrolled international students. To do this, the University has all the required infrastructure.

International prospective students applying for Master's programmes at HSE University can now get a jump start on the admissions process and get a sense of their chances of being accepted to HSE. There is no need to wait till summer or to come to Moscow.

In 2020, HSE University - St. Petersburg will introduce a new English-taught master's programme in International Business.
