HSE international students visited "RUSSIA" exhibition at VDNKh
The International exhibition "Russia" is the most important achievements of the country gathered on one platform at VDNKh.
The main objective of the Exhibition is to present Russia's achievements in a wide range of industries on one platform. All 89 Russian regions, federal ministries, corporations and public organisations are participating in the Exhibition.
The exposition program is divided into cultural, educational, business and festival parts, and accompanied by a permanent fair of Russian goods, as well as gastronomic festivals.
Michael Dzodzoe (Ghana, Prep year student)
— Kamchatka and Ul'yanovsk pavillions were most memorable firsty for visual effects and secondly for its hospitable staff. There were so many interesting places but unfortunately not enough time to explore in depth. For this very reason, I plan on visiting VDHKh again.
As a foreign student, I realize there's so much to learn about Russian people and their immensely rich culture. Maybe I'll enjoy the exhibition best once I perform better in the Russian language. I'm glad for being a part of this!
Mohsin Yazdani (India, Graduate School of Business)
— Our trip to the VDNKh Exhibition Pavilion 75 was really amazing. There I got to see all sorts of incredible things Russia has achieved, especially in cool tech areas like robotics, military tech, and space programs. Plus it was fascinating to experience the diverse cultures across each region of Russia.
The highlights for me were embarking on a virtual journey and the opportunity to dance and sing with a robot. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, made new friends, had delightful conversations, and shared many laughs. I’m eagerly anticipating more trips like this to discover even more wonders.
Owusu Bright (Ghana, Prep year student)
— I really did have fun and met new people and had good and memorable moments together. It was educational and notable to see so much interesting stuff and learn about Russian culture and astonishing science fiction technologies. At Kamchatka, I really felt like I was in the volcanic magma. It felt so real!
How fun that was? Amazing. Thanks to the organizers, I really couldn't have missed this experience.
