Bakary S Sonko (Gambia, Master Program “International Management”)

— I had the honor of being a speaker and participant at the 8th Eurasia Global Summit held in the vibrant Russian city of Orenburg. The summit drew participants from 64 countries, representing diverse regions of Russia and the world. Together, we engaged in insightful discussions on a wide range of topics affecting young people globally, spanning from politics and economics to culture.

I also made waves at the Russia-Africa Economic and Humanitarian Summit held in the picturesque city of St. Petersburg. While in St. Petersburg, I also took the time to explore the city's rich cultural heritage and visited iconic landmarks such as the Winter Palace, immersing myself in the opulence of Russian history. Additionally, I witnessed the site of the naval parade, experiencing the city's deep maritime tradition.

Pham Thu Trang (Vietnam, Bachelor Program “International Relations”)

— The foreign students here are very active and talented. They speak Russian very well even though many of them are not from post-Soviet countries, and they also encouraged me to be more confident to use Russian as a language to communicate with friends. It changed both my personal and academic life, because I didn't know that such small gestures could make big impacts on my mindset.

By the end of the forum, we all agreed that "Нас действительно подружила Россия", it was not just a "title" anymore.

Boris Senin Carhuallanqui (Peru, Master Program “Science, Technology and Innovation Management and Policy”)

— The Tavrida Art festival was such a great experience because it let me meet a lot of different people from different parts of the world like Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nigeria, and Russia. Personally, I loved bachata master class, and VK workshop, which was about AI, and I was amazed by all the different innovations that AI can help us deal with or take advantage of, like making professional-looking videos for social media and content creators.

The Black Sea and the landscapes from the coast were so astonishing. I consider the landscapes, the weather, the beaches, and the sea are as good as the most famous beaches in Perú. In many cases it is even better because here I noticed people and the government take care of nature and such places as the beaches in Sudak (city in Crimea).

I really enjoyed my time in this festival and I'm more than willing to participate again.
