Russian Railways Bonus Programme
Federal Passenger Company JSC announces the launch of a student programme as part of the Russian Railways Bonus loyalty programme.
The programme allows full-time undergraduate, Master’s and doctoral students at Russian universities to receive a 25% discount for tickets in compartment cars of the Federal Passenger Company JSC for domestic trains that depart from September 1 to June 30 (annually).
The Russian Railways Bonus student programme is not only a discount for the ticket, but also:
- An opportunity to collect points for trips in the Federal Passenger Company JSC and high-speed Sapsan trains with their subsequent use for bonus tickets
- Special offers from programme partners
To participate in the programme, simply:
- Register on the Russian Railways Bonus website
- Submit your personal information (name, surname, programme participant number, number of your study group) to the Social Services Office (20 Myasnitskaya Ulitsa, Room K-326) or send it by email to mssorokina@hse.ru (please include Russian Railways Bonus in the subject line)

Registration for the Russian Railways Bonus programme (the website in Russian, so please ask your buddy to help you)
1. In order to register, open the website www.rzd-bonus.ru and follow the link ‘Регистрация’:
Fill in all the required fields marked with ‘*’.
Tip: leave the ‘Pre-activated card number’ field (‘Номер предактивированной карты’) blank.
The fields you fill in will appear on your railway tickets. This means that if you enter wrong information that doesn’t correspond with what is on your ID, you will be denied entrance to the train.
Please enter your residential address in order to receive notifications by mail.
The fields ‘Security question’ (‘Контрольный вопрос’) and ‘Answer’ (‘Ответ’) are used to restore the password in case it is lost.
After you complete the form, an email will be sent to your registration email address in order to confirm registration. Follow the link in the message.
Please note – if you haven’t received the registration confirmation email, you can find your 13-digit participant number in the first letter with the link to the confirmation.
2. When the registration is confirmed, participants receive a welcome letter with a 13-digit participant number (9002………). This number should be submitted to the Social Services Office (20 Myasnitskaya Ulitsa, Room K-326) with your name and group number or sent by email to mssorokina@hse.ru (please include Russian Railways Bonus in the subject line; indicate your name and study group number).
To enter your participant profile, please visit www.rzd-bonus.ru, enter your 13-digit participant number in the login field in the upper right corner, and enter your password.
