Where to find accommodation

Migration registration

HSE University does not register students living in rented accommodation - this is the responsibility of the owner of the rented accommodation. If the landlord assures you otherwise, do not believe it! 

  • Inform the landlord about your need to get a migration registration before signing the contract. Beware of scammers! Do not pay the fee and deposit before you arrive in Russia and sign the contract.

Support services

The Student Housing Office provides free services of:

  • expert examination of the tenancy agreement;
  • checks of contract documents;
  • accompanying on the day of signing the contract etc.
