Project Activities

A project refers to an organized individual student activity with an aim of developing or identifying a solution to a practical or theoretically significant problem.
Project activities allow learners to acquire, consolidate or develop the practical knowledge and skills necessary for their future career pursuits, as well as cultivate self-discipline.

Projects may be:

  • mandatory, i.e., fixed in a curriculum and implemented as part of a degree programme;
  • optional, i.e., available for individual selection by a student from a list approved by his/her programme’s academic supervisor

How to take part in project activities?

Students can select projects through HSE University’s ‘Project Fair’ service. They can select optional projects independently in accordance with their research interests and available opportunities.
Furthermore, the ‘Project Fair’ service helps students to apply for any projects from lists offered for their degree programmes.
If you are interested in project activities (either under anindividual curriculum or just as optional course), you can choose a project by clicking on this link.
