New Student Buddies

160 HSE students joined as volunteer buddies in August to provide assistance for foreign students.

Buddies are responsible for helping foreign students adapt to their new environment, including settling into the dormitory, explaining how public transportation in Moscow works, acting as interpreters in official settings, and, finally, simply showing them the city. Any HSE student can become a buddy, regardless of class level or area of study. The most important thing is a willingness to help foreign students and have full proficiency in English or any other foreign language.
